Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how JP Cloud Systems LLC ("JP Cloud Systems", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit jpcloudsystems.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us through the forms on the Site:

Each submission is stored with the date and time it was received. We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account details or health information through the Site. Resumes are provided as links that you control; we do not host resume files.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and requested pages in server logs, which are used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it.
- To review job applications, contact candidates and manage our recruiting process.
- To send you an email acknowledging that your application was received.
- To operate, secure and protect the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies and tracking
The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use third-party tracking tools. The only cookie the Site sets is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie used by authorized JP Cloud Systems staff when they log in to the Site's administration area. Visitors to the public Site do not receive this cookie.
The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services:
- Vercel – website hosting and delivery.
- Neon – database hosting, where form submissions are stored.
- Google Workspace – business email, used to deliver form notifications to our team and acknowledgement emails to applicants.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of business assets, subject to this Policy.
Data retention
Contact form messages and job applications stored in our website database are automatically deleted 24 months after they are received. We may delete them sooner when they are no longer needed. Copies in our email system are managed under our normal business email practices, and we may keep information longer where the law requires it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restricted to authorized staff and a password-protected administration area. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and other US state privacy laws where they apply, you may have the right to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information you provided to us;
- obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format; and
- opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or profiling (we do not engage in these activities).
To make a request, email contact@jpcloudsystems.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome of the appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Job applicants must meet the minimum age required for the position.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to other websites, such as Google Maps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The dates above show when it took effect and when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
